..and so it begins. The vacation. The sitting back and enjoying the Island. Today we went on the Farm Tour. It was beautiful, informative, wondrous and much more. Coming from Colorado, we are stunned to learn we can plant greens now. It’s September! We can plant garlic and onions and much, much more. We will now buy our beef from the Island; from a hardworking farm that we toured. Imagine putting something into the earth in September and not offering it up to the Frost Queen…who knew?
