We also have some unresolved issues.\u00a0 The water has developed a very nasty sulpur smell.\u00a0 Ewww.\u00a0 It is not pleasant.\u00a0 We have been doing research on this issue and it seems to be a result of the water heater anode or the holding tank.\u00a0 I know nothing about this sort of thing.\u00a0 Luckily, my better half is a former chemist, science-nerd and basically brilliant.\u00a0 He is all over this problem.\u00a0 We can’t really live in the house until the water issue is fixed.<\/p>\n
However, the days are ticking away until the end of the month.\u00a0 We have to be out of the rental.\u00a0 We need to clean the rental.\u00a0 We need to finish moving.<\/p>\n
Yesterday, as part of our “leaving the ‘hood” journey, we hired someone to mow the copious back lawn at the rental.\u00a0 They edged it and mowed it in a flash.\u00a0 I watched them edging the very long grasses against the fence.\u00a0 It looked very tidy.\u00a0 I hate tidy.\u00a0 Who spends time doing edging?\u00a0 Really?\u00a0 So, so tidy and neat.<\/p>\n
It is\u00a0painful to take over boxes and then come back to the rental.\u00a0 I want to stay in that lovely home.\u00a0 I want to sit on the porch and listen to the birds and the frogs.\u00a0\u00a0Yesterday, the fog was beautiful as it whispered through the forest.\u00a0 Soon.\u00a0 Soon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
