BEST KITCHEN!!!!!!<\/p>\n

What a terrific team we have!\u00a0\u00a0They earned two awards\u00a0and our unending\u00a0\u00a0gratitude.\u00a0\u00a0They\u00a0received a Best\u00a0Kitchen\u00a0Award and it is a well-deserved pat on the back!\u00a0 We have a BEAUTIFUL kitchen.\u00a0 Let me just boast about those custom concrete counter tops one more time!\u00a0 Let me just be awestruck by the custom hickory cabinets yet again.\u00a0 We have the best stove of any of the homes, IMHO.\u00a0 Ditto refrigerator and sink.\u00a0 Corbels are a craftsman’s\u00a0bonus and look at that hood!\u00a0 Gorgeous back splash and after an amazingly difficult search for lighting, the bar lighting worked out quite well.<\/p>\n

\"S\"<\/a>BEST MASTER BATH!!!!!!<\/p>\n

Let me just spout off about the shower yet again.\u00a0 The tile is luscious.\u00a0 The craftsmanship\u00a0is the best.\u00a0\u00a0Thanks to prodding, and again a great work crew, we ended up with the shower fixtures we wanted.<\/p>\n

\"S\"<\/a>The shower door is\u00a0solid and very, very nice. And look at the\u00a0smooth stone floor.\u00a0 Oh yeah – I feel dirty.\u00a0 Time to shower!<\/p>\n

Then, my favorite piece\u00a0of both bathrooms.\u00a0 The ultra-smooth sided throne.\u00a0 No\u00a0hair-catching, nasty tubing running amok along the sides of my throne, thank you very much.\u00a0 No\u00a0crawling on the floor to chase\u00a0nastiness around the curved stupidity of the modern toilet.\u00a0 And guess what?\u00a0 Every other home had the aforementioned cylindrical siding nightmare thrown.\u00a0 Not me!\u00a0 Who designs toilets?<\/p>\n

\"S\"<\/a>I personally believe it’s the throne that won the bathroom contest!<\/p>\n

The Home Tour runs through Sunday.\u00a0 On Monday, the crew comes back for the monumental task of taking down all doors, removing hardware, taping the entire house and repainting the trim.\u00a0 The new color, now lovingly called “roadkill bunny”, will be applied sometime next week.<\/p>\n

I look around the rental and the thought of packing drifts into my head.\u00a0 I am tempted to pile it all up and light a match.\u00a0Repeat?<\/p>\n
