{"id":867,"date":"2013-08-21T15:27:48","date_gmt":"2013-08-21T22:27:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/smugglerscove.us\/?p=867"},"modified":"2013-08-23T09:55:11","modified_gmt":"2013-08-23T16:55:11","slug":"the-pits","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/smugglerscove.us\/?p=867","title":{"rendered":"The Pits"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/smugglerscove.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/firepit.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-869\" alt=\"S\" src=\"http:\/\/smugglerscove.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/firepit-296x300.jpg\" width=\"296\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/smugglerscove.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/firepit-296x300.jpg 296w, https:\/\/smugglerscove.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/firepit.jpg 670w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 296px) 100vw, 296px\" \/><\/a>Yesterday, we were in the pits, on several levels.\u00a0 There was a house mixup and a worker mixup and ugh.\u00a0 However, the moon shown brightly last night and today was spendid.<\/p>\n<p>Appliances of every breadth and width are in the staging area, as is the copious stack of bamboo flooring.<\/p>\n<p>Our workers, once again, rocked!\u00a0 Thank you!<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday, we were across the pond for some shopping.\u00a0 That is always loads of fun&#8230;not.\u00a0 We would like to go to Seattle one of these days for actual fun and not for shopping.\u00a0 Yesterday seemed especially trying and I finally figured out why.\u00a0 The full moon!\u00a0 If you have ever worked in a school or in a hospital, as I have, you know that the looniest of the loons come out with the full moon.<\/p>\n<p>Tonight, I will listen for owls to hoot and loons to call.<\/p>\n<p>Addendum \u2013 the mix up with the cabinets vs. switches was a miscommunication with the installer and the designer. We bought an 18 inch wide dishwasher instead of a standard 24 inch wide so that all the stuff would fit\u2026 The installer had framed in a 24 inch opening which threw everything off by 4 inches. He realized today, after looking at the pile of appliances we hauled over, his mistake and all is well now \u2013 for today <img alt=\";-)\" src=\"http:\/\/smugglerscove.us\/wp-includes\/images\/smilies\/icon_wink.gif\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday, we were in the pits, on several levels.\u00a0 There was a house mixup and a worker mixup and ugh.\u00a0 However, the moon shown brightly last night and today was spendid.
