\"S\"<\/a>Yesterday\u00a0was the Penn Cove Water Festival.\u00a0 Teams\u00a0raced in canoes\u00a0from one end of Penn Cove to the other.\u00a0 It was very cool.\u00a0 The canoes were gorgeous.<\/p>\n

Before the races, we took the dogs to Smugglers.\u00a0 They ran and we picked up trash.\u00a0 It’s about all we can do to help the crew at this point!\u00a0 I hadn’t been to the site in over a week.\u00a0 Quite a bit had changed.\u00a0 Drain pipes in, bits of pink foam on outer edges doing something, concrete curing to a color we anxiously await; pipes sticking up where the edge of the deck will be, earth moved here and there; and everything waits for the SIPS panels to arrive Monday.\u00a0 Monday at 8.\u00a0 That’s when the puzzle begins.<\/p>\n

I love puzzles.\u00a0 I lose myself in jigsaw puzzles.\u00a0 Our new home is going to be the most amazing\u00a0jigsaw puzzle of our lifetime!\u00a0\u00a0 I want to be there, but my better half will have to take photos for me to view later.\u00a0 He’s thinking about setting up a tri-pod to time-lapse the entire thing.\u00a0 Hmmm.<\/p>\n

Back to today.\u00a0 I have begun to forge a couple of trails through the woods.\u00a0 Small trails.\u00a0 I am just tossing sticks and logs\u00a0and detritus out of the way.\u00a0 I want gentle paths to follow, without harming anything.\u00a0\u00a0I have been working a lot lately and it\u00a0dawned on me that\u00a0one of the reasons I am working is that it takes my mind of this totally fabulous adventure ahead of us.\u00a0 I\u00a0almost can’t stand it.\u00a0 I want to lose myself in those woods.\u00a0 I think a small tent and a backpack are in order.\u00a0 I\u00a0may be lost for days on end.\u00a0\u00a0It’s 11 acres – huge and tiny at the same time.\u00a0 Our new world.\u00a0 Our new adventure.<\/p>\n

The best is yet to be.<\/p>\n
