\"\"<\/a> I wonder if the barn will be used for horses?\u00a0 I wonder if that loft will hold bales of hay?\u00a0 What a concept.\u00a0 We aren’t “horse folks” and have never used the barn for animals.\u00a0 Oh, there have been skunks, rabbits, bats and cats who have wandered through.\u00a0 The dogs love going in there and sniffing all the various scents.\u00a0 Our previous dog had several close encounters with skunks.\u00a0 That’s never a pleasant thing with which to deal.\u00a0 The current dogs have never had a skunk run-in, but I think that has more to do with added developments, than less canine curiosity.<\/p>\n

So, what was in the barn?\u00a0 We have never had a closet, room or flat surface that we could not fill with stuff.\u00a0 The barn held: mowers, weed whackers, tools, plastic bins, weaving materials, seed starters, more tools, drip-lines, sleds, chairs, tables, croquet and volleyball equipment, plant pots, insulation, siding, bed frames, etc.\u00a0 Well, it is all gone.\u00a0 Dispersed throughout the community. Some given away and some sold.\u00a0 Much more given away.\u00a0 And people are grateful to get the things we no longer want or need.<\/p>\n

We move forward.\u00a0 Several rooms are empty.\u00a0 The echo in the house grows louder.\u00a0 The days here are few.\u00a0 The days here were many.<\/p>\n
