\"\"<\/a>The bikes have a new home and a good one!\u00a0 The minute the new owner laid eyes on Mark’s 60’s bike, he began to rattle off all of the bike’s fabulous features.\u00a0 Good times ahead for bike and owner.<\/p>\n

We have been looking at house plans.\u00a0 Again and again and again.\u00a0 I think it’s time to break out the pencil and paper; list what we must have, need and want and draw-up some plans.\u00a0 It is all overwhelming.\u00a0 Never done this before and sure don’t want to screw it up.<\/p>\n

Fall is in the air and the plants are beginning to set seed.\u00a0 Every year, I collect copious amounts of nasturtium, cosmos, scarlet runner bean and marigold seeds.\u00a0 I plant them the next year.\u00a0 This year, I was going to let them play out their game and not collect seeds.\u00a0 I won’t be here next year…maybe.\u00a0 Mark talked me into taking the seeds to Whidbey Island.\u00a0 I balked at first and then realized it would be a great thing to look around at my Colorado flowers in a different setting.<\/p>\n

Mark has been cleaning out pantries.\u00a0 He loves his sauces, herbs, seasonings and all.\u00a0 He would have to cook for a crowd to use them all before their expiration dates rolled around.\u00a0 That’s something we’ll have to adjust for in the new place.<\/p>\n

I used my last bottle of body wash…ewww.\u00a0 I am going to switch over to bar soap.\u00a0 I got to thinking about recycling on the island and how I could cut down on the amount of consumable packaging in my own home.\u00a0 I recycle all of the plastic bottles here, but I see no reason to rethink my approach.\u00a0 So, plastic containers of body wash; gone.<\/p>\n

Gave away a jigsaw puzzle.\u00a0 Put it together and that’s one less thing to take.\u00a0 I love jigsaw puzzles.\u00a0 I may try to put together the ones I currently have and then pass them on.\u00a0 I know where the thrift stores are on the island and I can always buy more puzzles.<\/p>\n

Also rethinking the books that remain.\u00a0 Today, I need to choose one to read.\u00a0 It will be interesting to see what I kept.\u00a0 I have a feeling I will be saying, “Really?”.<\/p>\n
