Today, we bought tickets to the Parade of Homes.\u00a0 First time.\u00a0 We thought we could get some ideas.\u00a0 The first house was in Black Forest – 4000+ sq feet and 725k.\u00a0 It was huge and so not my style.\u00a0 Who the heck cleans it?\u00a0 Not me!<\/p>\n
Then we went to some 1\/2 million dollar homes in Cordera (Briargate east).\u00a0 Teensy lots and too much house.\u00a0 I have not spent the summer throwing stuff away, just to get a huge home in which to stash a bunch of crap.\u00a0 And 2 or 3 levels…uh, no.<\/p>\n
Then we went to the Habitat for Humanity home off of Vollmer Road.\u00a0 900 sq feet.\u00a0 There were several homes being constructed by Habitat crews.\u00a0 Just the best!\u00a0 Well, I could have moved into that home in a flat second.\u00a0 Cozy, warm, and small.\u00a0 It gives me hope that we can build a small home and be absolutely comfortable.\u00a0 Now…to review the Timberland Homes website.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
