I felt like crap today.\u00a0 So what?\u00a0 There are things waiting to be done and the big guy is scheduled for surgery in the morning.\u00a0 We bought a gallon of Kilz.\u00a0 It’ll cover anything, right?<\/p>\n
Well, apparently not.\u00a0 The blue sponge-painted walls laughed at me.\u00a0 That blue shone through like the sun behind a hankie.\u00a0 Ha, ha, ha…you thought you could cover this?\u00a0 This?\u00a0 Not happening.<\/p>\n
I still felt crappy, but I waited for the Kilz to dry and attacked it with the “color”…or non-color to be more exact.\u00a0 I only did the window edges and corners and such.\u00a0 Mother of pearl, if I didn’t really, really slather on the paint that freaking blue kept peaking through.\u00a0 Wish I remembered what brand of paint THAT was!\u00a0 Are you kidding me?\u00a0 And it dawned on me that I have to live with pale beige walls for a year.\u00a0 Oh man…BORING.<\/p>\n
Today, I sold another piece of furniture.<\/p>\n
