Here is my new day.\u00a0 Have coffee on my deck, looking out into primordial forest.\u00a0 Later, after sweeping the floor and feeding the critters, we all go down to the beach to wander.\u00a0 I will collect driftwood and stones and smell the earth and the sea.\u00a0 I will look for eagles.\u00a0 I will gaze out at the sound and look for whales or dolphins or gulls.<\/p>\n
I want a constant jigsaw puzzle close at hand.\u00a0 I will look up and think about baking bread.\u00a0 Bread will become an even more important circle of life.\u00a0 It will be kneaded and baked with a view toward the forest.\u00a0 Bread will rise without the calamity of altitude.\u00a0 Fresh berry jam will be drizzled over it.\u00a0 Our mouths will be satisfied.<\/p>\n
The salt and the sea and the forest debris will combine into an elegant smell.\u00a0 We will be rich beyond our dreams.\u00a0 We will have slugs, mushrooms, mosses, trees, birds in flight, the moon, the stars, the sun; dew drops, rain drops, fragmented scenes; zephyrs and\u00a0 northeasters; feathers and flotsam; all good.<\/p>\n
