{"id":1176,"date":"2015-07-03T14:58:26","date_gmt":"2015-07-03T21:58:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/smugglerscove.us\/?p=1176"},"modified":"2015-07-03T14:58:26","modified_gmt":"2015-07-03T21:58:26","slug":"too-long","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/smugglerscove.us\/?p=1176","title":{"rendered":"Too Long&#8230;."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/smugglerscove.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/temp.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1177\" src=\"http:\/\/smugglerscove.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/temp-281x300.jpg\" alt=\"temp\" width=\"281\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/smugglerscove.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/temp-281x300.jpg 281w, https:\/\/smugglerscove.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/temp.jpg 660w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 281px) 100vw, 281px\" \/><\/a>Okay &#8211; Spring and early Summer are just too busy.\u00a0 That is a given.\u00a0 So, I&#8217;m\u00a0back &#8211; we&#8217;re back &#8211; whatever.<\/p>\n<p>The garden is ridiculously abundant.\u00a0 Yum and yum.\u00a0 The late Spring and early Summer are too warm&#8230;no, wait, HOT!\u00a0 But look &#8211; our fabulous home is cool.\u00a0 We live in an insulated wonderland.<\/p>\n<p>We have had loads of visitors and it really helps us look anew at the house.\u00a0 It is a great home.\u00a0 We are comfortable.<\/p>\n<p>The deer have discovered the deck and all of our plants.\u00a0 So far, so good.\u00a0 Their favorites seem to be the\u00a0nasturtium leaves &#8211; not the flowers.\u00a0 Okay&#8230;have at &#8217;em.\u00a0 They did\u00a0nibble my new curly willow and that is not okay.\u00a0 It is now in the protected garden area.<\/p>\n<p>The frogs are enjoying the small pie pan\u00a0watering hole.\u00a0 Next year they must have a proper pond&#8230;that&#8217;s going to happen.<\/p>\n<p>And a boat &#8211; yup, gotta have one.\u00a0\u00a0For us, not the frogs!<\/p>\n<p>Have a great summer &#8211; go hug a tree.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Okay &#8211; Spring and early Summer are just too busy.\u00a0 That is a given.\u00a0 So, I&#8217;m\u00a0back &#8211; we&#8217;re back &#8211; whatever.
