\"?????????????????????????????\"<\/a>Summer burgeons forth with a spectacular morning of sunshine in the treetops.\u00a0 The view from upstairs is truly lovely.\u00a0 The solar panels will be busy today.<\/p>\n

Concrete has been poured and the garden fence posts are in.\u00a0 Today, Mr. Fabulous, our #1 Master Carpenter, will continue working on the\u00a0garden fence.\u00a0 He has secretive plans for an extraordinary welded garden gate.\u00a0 I cannot wait!<\/p>\n

Before the concrete was poured, our grandson discovered frogs in the deep holes.\u00a0 Oh my.\u00a0 Rescue was in order.\u00a0 I grabbed the fish\/tadpole net and managed to snag the frogs.\u00a0 Oops, we had\u00a0happened upon\u00a0a frog love rendezvous.\u00a0 Let me just say that nothing stops\u00a0frog\u00a0lust.\u00a0 We gently relocated the frogs to\u00a0the forest and went back to get the frogs in yet another post hole.\u00a0 Yup, ditto the above.\u00a0 These were tree frogs and they are gorgeous.<\/p>\n

Tadpoles.\u00a0\u00a0They are growing.\u00a0 The other day I dropped in a very small worm and it was eaten with vigor.\u00a0\u00a0Aha!\u00a0 The worm search was on, but I had difficulty finding more specimens.\u00a0 I thought about the abundance of spit bugs on some of the plants.\u00a0 I gathered a few and they were\u00a0immediately eaten.\u00a0 They are, however,\u00a0a lot of work for not much meat.\u00a0\u00a0Yesterday, grandson and I drove to the pet store and bought\u00a0a few meal worms.\u00a0 The owner was very happy we had rescued a few tadpoles and that we were raising them.\u00a0 Good vibes.\u00a0 Back home, we dropped in a meal worm and the tadpoles were on it, but\u00a0seemed to be having difficultly with it.\u00a0\u00a0So – we turned the whole meal worm into tender filets and the tadpoles\u00a0responded like vicious alligators!\u00a0 Who knew?<\/p>\n
